The Miller Studio

Ben Miller is an award-winning conductor, pianist, and singer from Newport News, VA.

From 2014 to 2019 Ben was Adjunct Faculty for Musical Theatre at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he taught private voice lessons and conducted mainstage productions. As a teaching artist, Ben has worked with SPARC, Virginia Rep, Richmond Ballet’s Minds in Motion, and many Richmond Area Schools (Collegiate, Midlothian, James River, and L.C. Byrd). 

Ben has music directed all over Richmond. Most notably, he won the Richmond Theatre Critic’s Circle Award for his music direction on In the Heights. He has played keyboards for many Broadway national tours including Wicked, The Book of Mormon, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.
