The Miller Studio

Ben Miller is an award-winning conductor, pianist, and singer from Newport News, VA.

From 2014 to 2019 Ben was Adjunct Faculty for Musical Theatre at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he taught private voice lessons and conducted mainstage productions. As a teaching artist, Ben has worked with SPARC, Virginia Rep, Richmond Ballet’s Minds in Motion, and many Richmond Area Schools (Collegiate, Midlothian, James River, and L.C. Byrd). 

Ben has music directed all over Richmond. Most notably, he won the Richmond Theatre Critic’s Circle Award for his music direction on In the Heights. He has played keyboards for many Broadway national tours including Wicked, The Book of Mormon, Beautiful, and The Lion King.

Megan Tatum is a performer/choreographer who trained under the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and graduated from William and Mary with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a B.A. in Integration of Dance, Music, and Theatre Performance. Some favorite performance credits include A Chorus Line at Mill Mountain Theatre, White Christmas at Barter Theatre,  Beauty and the Beast and South Pacific at Olney Theatre Center, A Christmas Story at Virginia Repertory Theatre, The Little Mermaid and Legally Blonde at Virginia Musical Theatre, and Celtic Fyre at Busch Gardens.  Megan has also interned in New York City with the physical therapy companies that represent the major Broadway and ballet companies. She choreographed many regional productions including Bright Star for which she was nominated for a Richmond Theatre Critics Circle Award.
